Model United Nations

Our Model United Nations team participated in-person in a debate conference at Archimedean Upper Conservatory, on the topics of "Climate Change" and "Access to Health Care". Students conducted research on the topic, presented their country policies in a public speaking format, and engaged in diplomacy to formulate solutions to these major global issues.

Debate & Diplomacy in the Classroom

Our Model United Nations program introduces basic concepts of global citizenship through practical hands-on simulations of formulating solutions to the world’s prescient issues. These engaging learning activities are also integrated within the Social Studies curriculum, and provide opportunities for students to develop critical thinking and public speaking skills by engaging in debate and diplomacy.

Football Raffle for Ukraine Refugee Relief Efforts

Our Leadership and Service students organized and orchestrated a football raffle fundraiser by obtaining an autographed football signed by New York Jets quarterback, Mike White, and selling raffle tickets to raise over $480 that was donated to Global Empowerment Mission's Ukraine Refugee Relief Efforts.
