Modern Movement engages in service projects that allow students to apply the knowledge they are gaining from their dance training, and use their talents to bring joy and a message of hope to others. Some of their recent projects include performing for senior citizens at local nursing homes, dancing at school and community events, and helping the Dance Marathon organization to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network. These opportunities have taught our dancers that the best way to uplift themselves is by lifting others.

Our Crochet for a Cause program brings students from all levels and all walks of life together to work towards a common goal of helping others. Students learn to crochet and create items like shawls, beanie hats to donate to hospitals and blankets for homeless shelters. They also gain confidence and a sense of belonging when they come together to help others.
